So are Funimation interested in this IP again? They licenced the first two seasons and the Movie, but they skipped out on Sinners of the System and only recently dubbed it.

We don't know the full story behind why it took as long as it did for Sinners of the System to get licenced and dubbed, especially when they weren't added to Amazon like S3 and First Inspector were. Either way, that and Providence getting licenced absolutely means Funi-or rather CR now are obviously interested in continuing to dub and release the series in the West. If Amazon hadn't sniped away Psycho Pass S3, I'm sure they would've been on it too.

I wonder if this is a extremely limited showing like Kaguya-sama even though advertised nationwide. I hope at least one theatre in the state is showing it!

Yeah, I'd be very curious to know since I always felt like they were interested. I too actually missed that they just announced that they finally got to dub Sinners of the System (looking forward to watching), really glad that they've been able to re-pickup dubbing it, and like you said the S3 situation is so frustrating. I hope they can do it eventually.

Yup. Do it. If you like this kind of show or the trailers or similar fare like Ghost in the Shell: SAC, etc. then definitely give it a try asap. Fantastic show.
