Second season of more Demon Jesus glorified curbstomping of any enemies, now twice as long as the previous one?
Well, yes. I am ready for that.

That's... unexpected, but a welcome surprise. Despite the power fantasy this was quite enjoyable. I just hope the animation improves a little.

I do enjoy animes of hilariously busted MCs that have no need for plot armour.

Nice. This was a fun show, it's good to see it getting more seasons.

Kinda surprised. I figured there was no more material the way they rushed the ending to season 1 with everything pretty much wrapped up. How longer can they play the "everybody arrogantly ignorant of the obviously OP demon lord that could remove your chlamydia just by whistling" plot? He's well more than proven himself. Where do you go beyond that? Alien invasion? More clones? A rival family member that wasn't worth mentioning before that will completely destroy any interest in your series like a certain cooking anime?

Proving once and for all that 2020 was SILVER LINK’s year. Bofuri, Villainess, and now Demon King all have confirmed second seasons!

This is one of multiple welcome anime surprises that I woke up to today. It was one of my favorite series of last year (#6 in my Top 10), so I'll absolutely watch more, even though I am a little concerned with where the story can go next.

Anos-sama wasn't satisfied with just a season 2, he had to go ahead and make it a split-cour so we can enjoy even more of his glory!
In all seriousness, I'm happy to see the show returning for season 2. It seemed likely, but comforting to have confirmed nevertheless.

It was also on of my favorites and with Kadokawa Light Novel Expo taking place between March 6th, 2021 and March 31st, 2021, we can only guess what LNs will get more anime adaptations in the near future.
Kadokawa budget for anime adaptations of LN's is one of the biggest in the industry so probably there will be a good number of Kadokawa's anime adaptations announcements.
So far we got:
2nd season of:
Tate no Yūsha no Nariagari (already announced before)
Hataraku Maou-sama!
Maō Gakuin no Futekigōsha ~Shijō Saikyō no Maō no Shiso, Tensei Shite Shison-tachi no Gakkō e Kayō
And the new:
86 (already announced before)
Leadale no Daichi nite (already announced before)
Sabikui Bisuko
Shijō Saikyō no Daimaō, Murabito A ni Tensei Suru or The Greatest Mao Is Reborn to Get Friends
And this is just the first day.

Sorry, the second season of Devil is a Part-Timer announcement trumps this for me.

Well, if they not making the seasons 6 episodes long, then it means yes.

That's a pleasant surprise. I enjoyed the first season way more than I expected to.
I am a little nervous about how well they can keep up that energy and constant escalation for that many more episodes, though.
