CR had licensed the first three seasons, so it wasn’t that surprising, but it’s nice they finally managed to get the fourth season licensed. Now if only I can catch up before the fifth season starts.

I'm glad they seem to have finally got the music licensing issues sorted out. Maybe I'll finally watch Symphogear now.

It may have taken 2 years of "where is AXZ" questions, but CR did respond. I am glad they did pick up season 4 and 5 though. Now people can watch the whole thing leading into the new season. Fingers crossed that XV is incredibly good.

I've still yet to start this series. I wonder if it's worth it?

All I can say is finally! I think I'll marathon the series again. It'd be nice to hear those songs again, and I hope they got the permission and/or the original lyrics to translate them for AXZ and XV (I know they did for most of GX at least).

Symphogear apparently isn't an easy license. Funimation only had the first series for a while because of their partnership at the time with NicoNico.com. No one simulcast the second series, and when CR announced they had the third, it actually took them a while to make the first episodes available, with them snagging the first and second series around the same time for their library. |
