Neo Yokio was a postmodern masterpiece that most critics and audiences seem to have either willfully misinterpreted or watched an alternate mirror-universe version of. I can't wait to see more of it and only hope it lives up to the existing episodes.

Considering the show was a rejected Animation Domination project Netflix happened to buy after that block went belly up, I’m surprised it was actually successful enough to do this.

Meanwhile, nobody wants to fund Satoshi Kon's last film.

I dunno about "masterpiece," but I agree that it's a strong work that most people don't seem to get. I'm looking forward to the Christmas special

Don't remind me D; I think the odds off it happening now, when it's been more than a couple of years since his passing, are ever diminishing.

Genuinely surprised this wasn't some copypasta.
Glad the fans will get more content. Maybe S2?

With Kon being 6 feet under, it seems unlikely that anyone would want to fund his movie. Remember when they made Stanly Kurbricks last film A.I. Artificial Intelligence, and how well that didn't turn out?

It has been over a year since we surfeited ourselves on Toblerone memes? The whole spectacle feels as if it occurred but a few months ago.

Hooray! I am SO watching this travesty nightmare! Neo Yokio is truly special (in the way that only something that has been decaying for a week smells) and I can't even lie to myself, I'm drunk watching this Xmas special bad boy! What are the odds that they literally started working on the Xmas special the second that tweet was sent out? Odds are that's how the final product will look (both visually and plot wise)

Aaaand now I'm sad.....can't whoever in Japan call Netflix for the $$$?

Yes! Bring it! Best anime ever! 10/10 will Toblerone again.
The show drove me over the edge of insanity and I’ll gladly jump into the abyss again

That's what happens when people watch something 'ironically' after hearing how bad it is.
