Seconding the $399 from Georgia. The 2TB is more, but the 1TB is $399 at MSRP most places. Amazon and Wal-Mart have third parties selling it for inflated prices on their websites, but GameStop has it listed for its normal price and Target has the Red Dead bundle with the 1TB also for $399 on their website. Best Buy has both the regular Pro and the Red Dead bundle for the same price, too.

Can this PS4 Pro get a price drop too in European territories as well?

Got mine for $360 refurbished about a year and a half ago. With 4K becoming more common this just makes sense.

There was a new CUH model of the Pro issued recently, so it indicates that Sony is reducing its manufacturing costs. Sales in Japan aren't as hot compared to the rest of the world, and the standard model PS4 sells way more than the more expensive Pro so Japanese retailers probably want to reduce inventory on that as nobody cares about the Pro as much.

I wouldn't expect it to end any time soon. Even with people leaping over themselves over the PSX cancellation. The likely earliest candidate for next-gen is still Winter 2020. Meaning we wouldn't hear much formal about any PS5 until at least Feb 2020.
Considering it's only the Pro being cut just indicates that consumers don't care for the higher-end model and therefore there is no real demand for a more expensive next-gen soon either. The economics of moving towards next-gen are probably more dictated by who moves first on services rather than actual consumer demand.
Considering other prospects, Sony is no doubt also looking to align PS5 with regards to whatever behind-the-scenes progress they can make with VR and how that will factor in for next-gen. Plus the overhaul of their online services and servers and ramping up for a more digital/game-streaming marketplace that Microsoft is very keen on moving towards whilst also breaking from the standard console-model release we've known.
A general PS4 price cut could happen in 2019 though. Either at E3 or closer to Winter. But it's selling very well, so I imagine that a price cut will happen at least 1 year before they plan on releasing any next-gen successor to clear inventory. Though they'll also try to capitalize on moving consoles with a major exclusive tie-in. Given the Red Dead Redemption 2 partnership, I don't see any cuts happening this holiday.

Why? The current console generation has brought us some of the best games in decades. And we're still gonna get Kingdom Hearts 3, RE2, RDR2, Spyro Reignited, and a dozen other games in the near future. There's absolutely no rush for a new console in the market.

Lol what? No it doesn't. This generation is still churning out amazing games. I'll never understand why people wanna rush into a new generation, then play the few games that come out and complain how there's no games. People need to kill this mindset.

Took them long enough. Standard PS4 should also get a price drop as well.
Also, PS4 consoles will sell on the week of KH3.
