Surely a giant robot series about describing complexity of algorithms?

I could tell Fate/Stay Night would be there even before I read the list. Nasu has a penchant for nonsensical western names for everything, like naming your fighting game "Melty Blood".
Ryogo Narita also loves using names that stand for absolutely nothing like Durarara and Baccano!. And then there's Ei Aoki's obsession with "Zero" which sometimes make sense (Ga:Rei Zero) and sometimes don't (Aldnoah/Zero).

I'm suprised that Kiddy Grade didn't make the list. It sounds like a series for pedaphiles.

Quote: | A science fiction anime starring a misguided virtual idol has little to nothing in common with the depraved Roman Emperor. Caligula's name draws up a lot of very specific images on self-absorption and sexual perversion, so I'm not sure why the original game decided to go with that as their selling point. |
Because it isn't named after the Roman Emperor, at least not directly. The developers have said it's supposed to refer to a psychological concept called the "Caligula Effect," the desire one has to do/see things they aren't supposed to. The English version even outright changed the title to "The Caligula Effect."

Legend of the Legendary Heroes didn't make it? I thought that name was quite a mouthful and over the top.
Or Aika R-16: Virgin Mission. That sounds like a sex pose.

Is the "favorite cat girl" poll in response to Nuku Nuku getting relicensed?
I was torn between Aisha Clan-Clan and Blair, but Blair can go full cat and looks adorable doing so, so I went with her.

Neko from K.
She's a cat in human form. She doesn't have ears or a tail or anything... but she acts like a cat. And it's adorable.
Have you ever seen those videos of a cat and a Roomba? That but human sized.
. . . . . "Show some respect!"

Baccano is actually the Italian word for "ruckus", in reference to how chaotic the events of the series can get. Durarara has no meaning, though.

So is this how low voting lists have went? Can't wait for the rest of the minstrel show.

Isn't it the opposite tho? He was forced to put porn to make the game sell. :p
