I don't quite get the point of this? I mean, aren't there hundreds of such models ready to use? What's the differentiating factor here? Higher quality? Actively encouraging its use?

So, in what exactly can you use her in? Never worked with 3D models, but I'd be interested in having a movable doll for drawing poses.

Since it's license-free and seems to be open-source, anything you'd like. The only restriction is that you can't restrict usage of this model or claim ownership.

I believe this is the 1st time I have seen a Japanese company embrace the Creative Commons approach. If some LN were done this way/royalty-free, the copyright infringement issues of fan translations would be a bit less of an issue.
