Company Releases 1st License-Free 3DCG Actress

Japan has previously employed an android to star in a feature film, but Yūno Takasaki may be the first "free-to-use" digital actress. Gugenka from CS-Reporters, Inc. released the license-free actress on Monday.
Her creator, CG artist Takuya Igarashi, points out on the official page that Yūno has several "fetish points" that can be enjoyed. The downloadable actress is shown in both her regular clothes and underwear.
The site does not make mention of Yūno having a voice, so she would likely need dubbed over for any projects.
The company plans to release more license-free 3DCG actors in the future. These characters could provide a helping hand for new developers working on projects in the increasingly popular virtual and augmented reality platforms. Hatsune Miku and other Vocaloids filled a similar niche for aspiring music producers before becoming a full-fledged musical medium in its own right.
