From the teaser, I guess this will have war and magical girl battle themes in it. Could be a hit or miss.

From the teaser I had hoped for something with a more classical feeling to it, but the visual with the girl holding the gun makes it seem like a show appealing to military otaku. I've never really liked the whole "young girls fighting in a war" thingy. I'd like to see a more serious and realistic approach of this theme.
I don't dislike Izetta's character design, though. Guess I'll have to wait for more information before deciding whether or not I'm interested in this.

I have a feeling this gonna be really good and i really like red haired girls and the MC seems to be the girl then we usualy would get a dude and then some girl that he meets etc but seeing it to be a girl makes me really happy. Anyway from the video and art teaser it seems like its goin to be interesting. And ye Japanese really like german stuff, befor we had schwarzesmarken at winter and now this one another war type

I think the art style and animation looks promising, plus the music was pretty good from the clip. I'm looking forward to seeing more from this, here's to hoping it'll be good.

Everyone has their preferences, but I mean the use of child soldiers is a realistic and depressing route that COULD be taken.

World War II anime....hope it is shoveled with fantasy, or a really alternate time-line, or they are fighting inter-dimensional space aliens in 1940. Like in Strike Witches. We shall see what path they will take. Character designs are great. I am a fan of girls with guns, swords, and even psychotic girls with knives. As the Candy Man said, "Will you be my victim?"

Seems like a WW2 story. Just throw in some comedy, fan service, and a boyfrienf while making it a TV show with a non-region blocked and punctual streaming schedul. With this, I am pretty game for it.

No need to look that far back, there's the currently-airing Joker Game, and it also touches on other aspects of WWII, not just the Germans.

Yay for original anime, I'm seriously tired with anime adaptation.
But this one is a bit cliche, which remind me with Senjou no Valkyria(Valkyria Chronicles).

I could be wrong, but that music sounds very Yuki Kajiura-esque.

True but Joker Game goes kinda world wide because we have spies from U.K and USA etc while schwarzesmaken was pretty much just germany one side vs the other as it was in the past.

Mobile Suite Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans caused controversy in Japan for its portrayal of children warfare. Now, fair enough, not as hardcore as Now and Then, Here and There, a 1998 anime that I loved but I'm not sure I ever want to watch again, but...
This anime sounds promising. I hope it fulfils its promise.

As always will wait and see who the production committee is before I think about getting interested beyond the trailer. Sometimes I wish they'd just come out and say it before I can know if I can just safely ignore it or continue to maintain some level of interest. It's probably another A-1 x Kajiura (the second most overrated composer after Sawano another overused Sony Music one who doesn't make a difference to me either way) clusterfuck commercial for the JSDF though judging by the character design, music and general aesthetic and tone of it all.

This series could go wrong in a million different ways, so I can't really say I'm optimistic for it, but damn if that key visual isn't striking.

Yeah it kind of does. Makes me wonder all right...
For the project itself, sounds interesting enough maybe have to check it out. So odd they throw out a teaser with virtually no further details to follow, not even as much as a stay tuned for X date or X publication to find out more.

WW2 with Magic*. Somehow this feels like a cross of First Squad and Chaika. She's a witch, but has an AT Rifle, which was notoriously ineffective. And she's a witch so magic is involved. Will this be Alternate-reality? Will it just show that history's course to be true, due to the character's actions? Certainly less grounded than Zipang.
I am wary.
