Anyone who spends over 90 dollars on less than two hours of content should be ashamed of themselves.

I love Gundam and Thunberbolt has been fantastic but it wouldn't be a Bandai Visual or Sony/Aniplex release if they didn't find some way to price something ridiculously out of my range. Keep staying classy with the release schemes anime industry publishers

That is for the super duper mega extra luxury edition man. 90 $ is cheap change.
On a serious note, Gundam Thunderbolt is worth at the most the price of watching it in streaming. And that is being very very generous.
GTB exemplifies the creative bankruptcy that Sunrise finds itself in.

I seriously hope that the set with the box isn't entirely exclusive to people who can make the theatrical screening. It's one thing to limit it to Japan, or a specific online retailer, but making it so limited that you have to be there on that specific day to get it is a little bit of a bummer for something like this. Eh, I'll be okay with the Amazon Japan one I guess. Unless rightstuf does end up localizing it, which I'm crossing my fingers for.

I hope I can pick up the director's cut at an...uh...'reasonable' price if it ever gets released in sub or dub. Watching the whole thing in movie form seems a lot easier to swallow than a short series of four episodes.
Its four episodes, right? They haven't said anything about a sequel?

It sounds like the directors cut version will have a few additional scebes to tie episodes together for this release, or something, but otherwise, no, it doesn't sound like any sequel is planned.

Well, here's to hoping we are able to watch the director's cut in some way.

Yeah, hopefully it'll stream somewhere. It really needs to be on Daisuke.
