Characters seem as stereotypical as they sound, maybe except the glasses guy. A change of pace for Trigger is fine, just kinda miss the 'crazily over the top' Trigger.
Hopefully the story could pull it off.

Not really feeling that BBS song.

And that PV makes the series seem happier than I thought it would. Have been expecting this to be melodramatic.

People that saw it at Anime Boston have said it's actually quite disturbing. There,'s a lot of torture scenes apparently.

The way they have been marketing this so far makes it sound like it's more of a Mari Okada project than anything else. It looks like it has a lot of potential, but I'm cautiously optimistic. Her work is very often straddling the line between "perfect" and "just okay", for me.

Ah, so the PV is misleading. Honestly, as soon as I noticed markings on some of the characters' wrists...I wasn't expecting anything pretty.

Just hope Okada doesn't delve to far into the dramatic, as recent works with her involvement have lost me.
