Purchased today from Barnes & Noble:
Manga: Yowamushi Pedal volume 1 of the Red, the Light, and the Ayakashi volume 1 Akame ga Kill! volume 1 I picked up the last title because B&N was having a "buy two get one free" sale. I bought the first two because they got good reviews here. |

In this month I have bought three volumes of manga:
Attack on Titan (vol. 5) Buddha: Jetavana (vol. 8) Shigeru Mizuki's Hitler Hitler and Buddha I got yesterday. Attack on Titan I bought about two weeks ago and it is the newest volume of the Finnish edition. I started Osamu Tezuka's Buddha eight years ago so I have bought one volume per year. Not very good pace but now it is finished at last. Mizuki's manga I wanted to buy right away when it was published but I had to wait in this year. It looks awesome and I hope the story is well told as well. I'm not too familiar with Mizuki's works (I have read two stories of Kitaro and Nonnonba) but this far I have enjoyed his talents. Total sum of these three might be around 39 USD. |

I was thinking of getting this myself in no small part due to the review here as well. Let me know what you think of it. I'll probably be doing a RightStuf order over $50 soon to get other volumes I need to be caught on up series. |

I read it. It involves shrines, ayakashi, competing ayakashi, transforming foxes, people being spirited away and a town that may have been spirited away. At this point it is basically confusing. I have no idea where it is going but I like the subject matter and I think I'll follow it for a couple of volumes to see if the confusion is just setup. Edit: Received today from the comic shop: Manga: Akuma no Riddle volume 2 Golden Time volume 2 Non Non Biyori volume 3 Orange The Complete collection volume 1(?) Novel: Strike the Blood volume 2 From the Warlord's Empire Second edit: Received from Amazon on Thursday: Novel: Kizumonogatari Wound Tale by Nisioisin This is selling better than anticipated, or at least as anticipated by Amazon. It was out of print and on back order for over a week. |

Received today from TRSI, note most likely because of the weather, this took from Monday the 18th when it was picked up by the post office to this afternoon to get here. It took it three days to get from Memphis to Greensboro NC. It took an additional three days for the post office to get it from Greensboro to here. That last is a two hour drive. When they tell you that Media Mail is low priority they aren't kidding. At any rate:

Pre-ordered from TRSI:
Black Butler Season 3 LE This comes out right around the time of my birthday/wedding anniversary, so it'd be an awesome gift for myself. Well, and my husband too, since he enjoyed watching Season 1 with me. 
Also purchased off of a seller on Amazon: Alice 19th Vols. 4-6 I picked up the first three and Volume 7 at Anime Midwest last year for cheap, so I needed these to complete the series. I recently saw that I had enough points on My Coke Rewards for a $10 gift card, so I used that and $2 out of pocket; not a bad deal, I think! |
