That price is rediculous for 3 episodes... Considering all the complaints about anime prices up until now this will stand out as the one to remind you it's not that bad.

Considering that the price of some Porn titles can easliy be $30 or more (at a quick glance at sites across the net, and this regardless if the format is DVD or VHS), this might be the reason why the price is so high.
In comparison, for $130, you can get the Cool Devices VHS Box Set. That has what, 12 episodes? |

What happened to the rest of the series? The Encycolpedia says it's a 5 episode series, not 3.

It's a different series. The 3 episode OAV is the Urotsuki series from 2002. |

Yes and no. I wasn't certain of the details, so I didn't link it to a specific show earlier today. But I've fixed that up and added the new series to the Encyc. |

as far as I know, these are only titles that exist... 1. Legend of the Overfiend 2. Legend of the Demon Womb 3. Return of the Overfiend 4. Inferno Road |

Those are the 4 existing series. The original series is: "Urotsukidoji: Birth of the Overfiend - Part 1" 1987 "Urotsukidoji: Curse of the Overfiend - Part 2" 1988 "Urotsukidoji: "Final Inferno - Part 3" 1989 "Urotsukidoji: "Legend of the Demon Womb - Part 4" 1990 "Urotsukidoji: "Battle of the Shinjuku Skyscrapers - Part 5" 1991 Episodes 4 & 5 are not a part of the original manifestation of this story, they were added in later. They take place *during* the original 3 episodes, not after. "Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend" was a 1993 Movie made out of the first 3 episodes. Then there was Urotsukidoji II in 1993, and it was again called "Legend of the Demon Womb" The four part Urotsukidoji 3: Return of the Overfiend also came out in 1993, I don't know individual titles for that. Then in 1996 the 3 part Urotsukidoji 4: Inferno Road came out, again I'm not certain of individual titles. I guess I need to fix up Urotsukidoji a lot in the encyc. Before I go an do that, can anyone tell me if there are any mistakes in the above, or if anything needs to be added ? -t |

The series which the news blurb is in reference to is:
Urotsuki, which (from what I understand) is a remake of the 12 part OAV series and was made in 2002. It's 3 45-minute episodes. |

11 eps, and you can get it on dvd for $50. Cool Devices is very cheap... but I still wouldn't pay for it.

Sounds like a bootleg price, as a quick search on the net showed me. I have figures for $80 here. Cheapest used is around $60. |
