Does the soundtrack contain the English and Japanese vocal tracks, or just the latter?
Either way, it's a great feat. Good job, Frozen! |

I haven't seen the movie but the song is played often in Japan, and you hear it all the time on TV too.

It's a double CD set with both English and Japanese tracks. |

I've held off buying the Frozen CD for financial reasons, but, once I have a little cash, I may actually go for the Japanese import just because I legitimately do like the Japanese performances in the song videos Disney Japan's offically uploaded to Youtube.

And now I'm headcanon'ing Idina Menzel singing:
"The Galaxy Express three nine will take you on a journey a never-ending journey… A journey to the stars!" |

I really like the Japanese version, but I felt Idina really blew it away in the English version. Glad to see Frozen become so popular though.

Yeah, the Frozen soundtrack is still holding onto the top spot on the Billboard charts and has already beaten The Lion King Soundtrack's record for longest animated film soundtrack staying #1 for 12 consecutive weeks I think and now I believe the Frozen soundtrack is already on its way to beat the Titanic soundtrack as well!
Once again, congrats to Frozen's unbelievably huge success in Japan! With the film being a huge pop culture phenomenon there, what will also help cement it is if Disney decided to green light an anime series to Frozen and hey, they already did that with Lilo & Stitch so why not Frozen as well? Whoever decided to release the film very late on March 14th deserves to get a raise! It's still topping the box office in Japan and it still shows no signs of slowing even after 2 months of release! |

Be interesting to see the Japanese audio to this. I wouldn't mind hearing the songs and see what they come up with.

Ok I have to sneak off the the library and borrow this movie. Because the Galaxy Express 999 movie and Farewell Space Battleship Yamato have really memorable scores.
