Can't wait to see this, and I also can't wait for the inevitable TV anime adaption.
I really want to see the chapter 1, chapters 4-6, chapters 29-32, and chapters 38-42, and chapters 50-55 animated.. ..F***, I just want to see everything animated. |

Great news, I spotted a "regular edition" of the seventh volume on CDJapan while I was worried we wouldn't be able to see the anime in the same way One Piece's original OVA isn't very available.
I'll look into buying the limited edition even if it isn't listed there yet. I'm not expecting the adaptation to be the definitive take on the arc and material, but Gotoh has a pretty decent record so I'll be pleased enough. |

I would say, other than Sencolle, that it's been a while since Gotoh directed something other than single episodes - but then this is a single episode. He seems to be working with Brains Base a lot these days.
In general though, Shounen Jump stuff tends not to work for me. |
