I usually go into anime with cautious optimism, but this is the first time in awhile that I'll be going into something with an insane amount of enthusiasm. The trailer made this look like a lot of fun, so I'm definitely on board for a good time.

Bad english aside, the promo looks great. The show looks like it'll be a lot of fun and the animation looks absolutely stellar so far. Can't wait till it airs in January, though I'm equally looking forward to seeing who picks this up for a stateside release.

This looks goofy in a fun, good-hearted way (though the music wasn't quite as energetic as I'd have liked, but you can't win em' all!) I'm kind of surprised something like this is being made in the modern day, it has the kind of sensibility of something from the late 90's/early aughts, but with 80's sci-fi mixed right on in. I'm definitely looking forward to this.

I'm not a fan of Cowboy Bebop, but I have to say that this looks like it will be a lot of fun! I normally don't go for comedies, but I'll make an exception for this one. Plus, its being made by BONES, so it becomes an instant watch for me no matter what.
On another note, I love the Opening Song! |

It might be just me, but that music at the beginning seems to channel a specific tune from the Cowboy Bebop movie.

I am very underwhelmed by the trailer. It might seem entertaining and silly, but it looks cheaply animated to me. I expected more from something that has the name Shinichiro Watanabe attached to it. I will have to pass on this one.

I will not like this as much as I loved Cowboy Bebop, it looks too silly, and the music is too cheesy. But unless something goes horribly wrong, "Space Dandy" will probably be my favorite anime of 2014.
It reminds me a bit of D.R. and Quinch or even some of the comedy bits from original Heavy Metal film. But without the edginess... |

So true. Man this looks insanely fun. January can't get here soon enough. While it looks too silly to reach Bebop heights, it really does need to end up on Toonami/Adult Swim eventually too unless something goes horribly wrong as they continue making it. 
I got hit with that too. |
