I can not wait to read how this series ends, may it end well and wrap up a decent shojo manga I've been following for eight years now.

It's seemed like it was coming to end for a bit now. Things have been getting uncomfortable (more so than normal lol obviously lol), and pretty dramatic.

This series is still on-going? I figured this ended years ago, but then again, it's been several years since I heard any news about this series. At least not since Seven Seas deciding not to license this series.

Such a wonderful series. I can't wait to see how it all ends. If the series to date is to be believed, I doubt it will be the way anyone thinks it's going to be.

Well, she's no longer kodomo: it's all fun and games till someone gets pregnant!

[insult removed] is all this manga is.
Also a good example of how shitty the industry is these days. If it doesn't involve little girls doing perverse things, it won't sell.
[Mod Edit: Let's not go labeling any and every fan of a title like that. People can have many reasons for liking something. Insults are also not allowed here, which you are doing by attacking fans of this title that way. - Keonyn]

So it will end with Rin and co's graduations, then (or at least not stretch significantly into junior high). Fitting, especially given how closely it pays attention to its in-universe timeline. The development of theme and character in this series has just been excellent and I'm confident the ending will do it justice.
Cecilthedarkknight_234: It's a manga about a young girl, but I think you'll find the demographic is seinen.

Indeed one of the best and original manga of the last decade. I'm wondering how it will end. Hope in a resolutive and good ending and not an open one.

Of course there are successful manga and anime out there with a more mature setting, what the hell are you talking about?
And please don't call it "[insult removed]", because it's way different.
Comparing this to pedophilia is similar to comparing meat to cold blooded murder or someone who likes rap music to a rapists and a drug addict.

Oh, I take it you read it then? Tell me, what was your opinion about how the author wrote the PTSD of an elementary school child? Did you think the way Rin reacted to what happened to her mother was realistic? How about the problems a girl who matures too fast comes across? Surely, you must have an opinion about this show, since you wouldn't be talking about it without having read it, right?

Guys, I understand KnJ readers are used to being on the defensive, but Running Wild's post has to be a joke.
I don't think anyone believes Kodomo no Jikan is representative of top-selling manga.

I imagine Cecil's referring to Comic High!'s original catchphrase, "Shoujo manga for men." They stopped using that phrase years ago, but Kodomo no Jikan has been running in Comic High! for almost as long as the magazine has existed (I think it started in issue 2?) so long-time readers remember it.
