For the sake of enquiry, could anyone remind me of how AnimeLeague came to be considered mildly villainous by other fan circles? The specifics escape me.

I wondered this, according to ED, Mike Towers is accused of spamming people. ED isn't exactly fair to the people it features though. Wink

If he's here he can speak for himself, I haven't had any trouble with them myself...

If you know his set text, you can find plenty of examples. Because he's been doing it for nigh on a decade.

Well things like cosplay and Mario Kart are at least related to anime, they're a part of otakudom. I wouldn't mind something like that happening near me but not in the city where dad won't drive me lol.
