I didn’t realize he directed the X-Men cartoon.

Just to be fair, I didn't even know he was involved with the ADR/dub directing of several anime so that is significant for me as a person that not only grew up on X-Men: TAS, but also as an anime fan too. Assuming X-Men '97's 2nd season is in full swing production, I hope the director for that show remember to have a end of episode for the 1st episode for 2nd season to be dedicated and in memory of Dan Hennessey. His death would effect the casts of X-Men '97 given that most of the cast of X-Men: TAS reprised their roles for the show, they got to have to an episode dedicated and in memory for him. I knew him for his Western animation work but I never knew how involved he was in anime.
RIP Dan Hennessy. Thank you for all the wonderful characters you portrayed and the dubs you directed. |

Oh man. I remember Dan Hennessey. I knew him best when he played Brave Heart Lion on the old "Care Bears" series that was done by Nelvana. I had no idea that he did any anime dubs. That surprised me. Nevertheless,it's sad he's gone.
RIP,Mr. Hennessey. You'll be missed greatly. Last edited by Snomaster1 on Sun Dec 01, 2024 3:16 am; edited 1 time in total |

I know him from his work as Thomson (without a P) from Nelvans’s Tintin cartoon, which was a big part of my childhood. Rest in peace, good sir.
