Japan Habba 2025: Bigger, Better, and Levelling Up the Gaming Scene

BENGALURU, INDIA, November 20, 2024 | The 21st edition of Japan Habba, India's largest celebration of Japanese culture, is back with an expanded focus on gaming and pop culture. Organised by a dedicated committee of volunteers, this event continues to unite enthusiasts of Japanese culture with official support from the Consulate-General of Japan in Bengaluru and The Japan Foundation.

Expected to host 10,000 to 12,000 attendees, Japan Habba 2025 will take place on January 12, 2025 (Sunday), at the iconic Chamara Vajra, located within the prestigious Palace Grounds in Bengaluru.

Japan Habba 2025 is proud to host some of Asia's largest Fighting Game Community (FGC) tournaments, in partnership with The Versus Festival and Pokémon GO Bengaluru. Competitive gamers can look forward to:

Cosplay, another staple of Japan Habba, will once again shine with spectacular showcases and contests featuring anime, manga, and gaming-inspired designs.
