They never said it would be printed in Jump, only that it's coming in November.

I would be suprised if it wasnt in Jump. Think about it they would make alot more money if they ran it in Jump first then sold the GN's. Not to mention alot of people would plop down the 30 to subscribe just for Kenshin.

November would also be about the time that Sandland ends, so it would make sense for RK to be in Jump. I'll be supised if it isn't...
it would also guarantee my subscription...

if you were to break it up how many issues would it take for them to run kenshin in jump? using the others as reference. Its a good thought to subscribe but I really don't want a huge stack of jumps just because of one series. The graphic novels would be more suitable to someone like me. Space restrained indeed

Since we're looking at 28 volumes it would have a long run of several years, took over 5 years in Japan and I'm pretty sure that was weekly.

Speaking about size i have noticed that each issue of Shonen Jump is getting notecably thicker.

... I wouldn't assume that it's length alone removes it from Shonen Jump...
Particularly because One Piece is over 27 volumes and still running AFAIK.
That'd be something like 300 chapters... unless Shonen Jump intends to have that in production for the next 24 years, I think they're going to be going to a weekly format.. or else will find some better way to release it faster. :)

I'm sure they wont do just one at a time. just like with the others they'll probably stick with 2-3 chapters of RK in every issue of SJ. It does make you wonder if they plan on keeping some of their longer manga running for the entire duration in SJ or if they plan on stopping half way through and make them go directly to GNs. For all we know they're just using SJ as a primer for longer series so people can get taste for them while they're reading tried and true titles like Dragonball Z and then drop them from the lineup and switch to GN format all together.

Yeah.... if RK ends up in jump, they will almost definitey stick 2-3 chapters in every month.
But no, SJ's not really getting longer. Its staying right about at 352 pages an issue.

(sigh) I really don't want to have to wait so long. Damnit and I don't have the time to learn japanese. Lets hope they do some kind of GN and jump release simultaneously probably coinciding with the jump pacing.
