Wow half the Zatch Bell cast is in this....hopefully they won't do a Zatch Bell/Naruto back to back, or people will get confused

I'm actually liking a good portion of the cast list, but I guess we have to wait until the 10th to see how this is going to turn out...
Though, I thought Steven Blum was going to be Kakashi, oh well...he'll work as Zabuza... Last edited by Nionel on Thu Aug 25, 2005 1:22 am; edited 1 time in total |

Yeah, but while we have been told that Matt Damon ISN'T going to be Orochimaru, they didn't back it up with proof of who IS to be cast in the part. Honestly, I don't plan on watching Naruto, but I just thought this stood out a little. |

Dave Whittenburg fits Kakashi to well.

Matt Damon will play Naruto in the inevitable live-action adaptation. Either him or Haley Joel Osmont...

This is looking really good. I'm glad Blum isn't doing Kakashi, I've never felt that was a good fit. He can do blood-thirsty, that'll make him a good Zabuza, but he can't pull off super laid back and casual without a squeek to his voice, that would have made him a bad Kakashi. But this isn't even half of it, there are still several more characters left unnamed.

Aww, that blows. I thought Steven Blum was going to be Kakashi. He would have been perfect for the role. He'll be good for Zabusa, I'll bet, but damn it.

I don't know any of these people (Blum aside). This'll be a real crap shoot, huh?
Well, with any luck it'll at least turn out better than Gash Bell. |

i think kirk thornton would be the best kakashi. then i saw he's playing tazuna. yeah, that's all i got. but i've got the utmost faith in this dub. the adr director is the same as flcl's. and i believe we all know how awesome that dub is right? i am being serious. awesome dub. no sarcasm. i'm serious.

Yeah, I think this may become a great dub. The reps. from studio Pierrot in Anime Next even said they prefered many of the voices in the dub.

Oh IMdb, come and help us with Maile Flanagen. The photo of her does scare me. Need the less, I can't wait for the final product before passing judgement on what person can do based off a list of pass works. Belive me when I say this, if it doesn't work out, everyone will hear the cry of a thousand fanboys/girls. Oh what a horrid sound.

Hmmm, maybe that's because it's being licensed and voiced by the same company(s). Is that a woman I see playing Naruto? |

Even if the dub is great(I think it will), Narutard purists will still whine about how the show was ruined. |

I saw a little sample of this dub at the Licensing Show this year, and the voice they had for Naruto sounds almost EXACTLY like it does in Japanese. It was almost a little creepy how dead-perfect they got it.
Meanwhile, am I the only one excited to see the lovely and talented Stephanie Sheh as Hinata? |
