At least it got the axe prior to publishing, unlike Kannagi.

Eh, if anyone else picks up the rights to the Nichijou anime, I think it's fairly likely that Yen Press would pick up the manga.

Yeah, it seems like their sort of series.

I haven't picked up any of the Code Geass novels, but now I'm a little reluctant to, knowing that R2 won't be coming :/ The only company that MIGHT do it (if given the rights) would be Yen, and I wonder if they would?

NOOOO! I love the Nichijou anime! I was sooo looking forward to it being released in the US, there should be a rule that if you translate the anime and its a company that translates both Manga and anime they have to do both and complete the series. ( *Cough* finish The Lucky Star Manga *cough*) This sucks! But it looks more like a Manga Yen Press would pick up instead.

The Lucky Star manga deserves better care than Bandai gave it. I own a lot of manga, and never have I seen so many typos every volume. Even on the covers, on multiple volumes!

Hopefully Sentai, Media Blasters, or FUNimation will license rescue the Nichijou anime and produce an awesome english dub.
