hopefully they don't go overboard with the animations that they might forget about the story again Laughing but then again i don't know what it was about

i wonder what the story is going to be about im guessing they may use a narrorator ( i only read some of it because my friend has one of the books so if there was dialogue i never seen it )

Well if there's no narration then nobody's going to want to see it outside of hardcore fans and little children.

Lets hold out on that assumption until it's actually release.

Becasue it would be boring if they use regular animation. I'm guessing you never played or heard about Tekken 3 in your life, Gon was in CG and it was awesome.

Interesting. Now there's a title that you wouldn't have expected.

Well, he was animated in CG in video games.

Are you suggesting that hand-drawn animation is more boring than CGI Rolling Eyes ?

Nope, Jackalope, I'm suggesting that CG would be more interesting for Gon than regular animation knowning that there's already a CG gon in existance. And if you seen some really good CG animation or played some really good next-generation games, they can be exciting as well as realistic. Wink

I also think a CG Gon could work very well. For anyone who doubts the creativity of CG in anime just watch the Black and White (Tekkon Kinkurito) pilot. Anyways, should at least be worth checking out. I doubt they can totally capture the appeal of the manga, but hopefully they'll get the amazing body-language down.

Even if Gon will look good in CG (I'm sure it would), Bananafish, it still doesn't necessarily mean that traditionally animated Gon would be boring. It's all a metter of one's preference. I've seen plenty of CGI movies, many of which were very impressive visually but I still prefer hand-drawn animation.
