I read so much manga that it's impossible for me to pick out favorites, but most series from TokyoPop rank pretty high on my fav list.

Shoujo manga - Fruits Basket [Takaya Natsuki]
Shounen manga - This one's considerably harder, since I read much less shounen manga than I do shoujo manga (this almost seems like a paradox, ne?)... Chobits [CLAMP]

hmm, i really like kodocha. it is so funny! i dont read much shonen manga... gundam is pretty good though Anime smile

Shoujo: (it's been said before) MARS. Simply too addicting and lovely to read.

Shonen: (new favorite thanks to Kenichi Sonoda) Cannon God Exxaxion. Big robots, blood, and b**bs, how much more shonen can you get?

shonen Skullman and Naruto both rock yeah!!!!!!

shojo ummmm kodocha's hillarious but only read 1 volume and x is real good just read 1 volume also need to read more shojo

My Favorites are:

Shoujo: A 3 way tie between Mars, Marmalade Boy, and Kare Kano....
Shounen: Well, I'd have to say a tie between Naruto and DBZ... Very Happy

haven't read much manga, but berserk is my favorite so far. Not into Shoujo anime so I don't see myself getting in to the manga...

Favorite Shounen would be anything by Ken Akamatsu. I adore Love Hina, A.I love you, and what I have read of Negima.

As for Shoujo, that's a lot tougher because I read about 50 times more shoujo than shounen. I guess I will put up a top 5: Sailor Moon, Fruits Basket, Hana Kimi, Peach Girl and Kare Kano.

Then there are the series like Perfect Girl Evolution and Oh My Goddess, where sadly, I am not sure which genre they are in, but I love the both of them as well.
