Well, "Wandering Son" aka Hourou Musuko to be simulcast on Crunchyroll 1/13/2011 sounds interesting. I am hopeful this topic re transgendering will receive sensitive treatment similar to taboo topic anime "Koi Kaze" and not turn into a 2-dimensional regenerated vaudeville act. Thank you Crunchyroll for availing this anime to us.

And with this announcement, I'm pleased to say that all of the new season's shows that I'm seriously interested in are being streamed legally. I wasn't sure such a day would ever come.

I'm still a little curious as to why Funi isn't simulcasting Wandering Son and Crunchyroll is, being as it is a Noitamina show.

CR purchased Wandering Son from Aniplex.

Wohoot, FINALLY, Funi really does take a while to announce their simulcast deals.

I remember during the latest FuniCon Shiki was brought up and the mentioned they had been worried about how well that would do, maybe the noitaminA shows were preforming below what they hoped? Or CR could've offered the better deal or possibly (but I think this one is a bit far-fetched) the studio behind Wandering Son wanted it to reach a wider audience than the US and sometimes Canada and CR was able to provide that.

Yes! Me too! I'm so happy this happened. Looking forward to watching this show on Funi, as well as Gosick, Level E, Zombie Desu Ka, and Wandering Son on CR.

Nice lineup, especially after Fall's drought. I hope at least one of these will pan out and keep my interest for a whole season.

After reading the "Ace of Database - Brain Diving" article yesterday from ANN, I really wanted to check this out. This news excites me. I haven't really found anything to check out simulcast besides FMA: Brotherhood last year, so I'm looking forward to checking this out.

Definitely watching this one. I wish Funi would simulcast more titles, because unlike Crunchyroll, you don't have to pay to see it legally the week it's released.
