| High octane violence and nudity with themes showing the horrors of social discrimination, torture, and the effects of physical and psychological abuse. The series uses clear and strong symbolism, but I mostly find it to be really sad. | |

| My mother happen to borrow this from the library. The number of scenes of dismemberment and decapitation may be inappropriate for younger viewers, but does fit into Miyazaki's environmental views a bit. | |
