I suppose it's hentai even though there were no sex scenes. If not a hentai it was defintely mature material. Okay...yes...I gave this a "Masterpiece" rating. Every single scene looked like it belonged framed in an art measuem. Every single one. The art work was like Nothing I've ever seen in my entire life. It was absoutely stunning!! The characters had their own developed personalities from the moment I met them. I also think that the material packed into the 50 minute block was PERFECT for the time given. Everything that happened had a meaning and nothing was stupid or pointless. Even with 50 minutes, I almost cried at the very end. This OVA went above and beyond my expectations.
If you want great artwork and style look no further, this is one of the best out there. |

I loved this movie. It didn't really have any random timefilling scenes in it. Everything was down to the point, and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. It was very entertaining and thrilling, and the plot was absolutely amazing. I'm very pleased with the amount of material put in to 2 hours, and how it was presented! Great movie! |

All the characters were lovable...even despite one poor quality of the main character (as in many animes I've seen), I still really liked him. The plot was very interesting and is continued into the OVAs. The animation was unique to the plot and set the mood. This anime was defintely great...and the only reason it doesn't get masterpiece is because of the inconclusive ending. |

Okay there are only two reasons why this doesn't deserve 'Masterpiece'. The first is the animation could have used a little work. Even if it was more dynamic it would have greatly improved the anime. The second reason is there were some cliche drama scences, which could have been modified for originality. Otherwise this anime was INCREDIBLE! All the music, not only the bands music, was amazing. I fell in love with every character immediately and their personalities were extremely well defined and they developed so much throughout the show. Everything except the animation was dynamic. I could write a book on how great this show was. |
