She's married to All Elite Wrestling pro wrestler Kazuchika Okada, who now wrestles in the United States. This would explain the move.

She's one of my favorite seiyuu, so I hope she's happy in my home country and still is able to voice act and reprise roles!

I was wondering if this had something to do with her husband!

as someone who lives here in america, that seems like a very dumb idea, BUT i suppose finically maybe its better since the yen is losing so much value

As mentioned, her husband works in America now so that's why she's moving.

Given both remote recording and renting space out at local studios are a thing, she absolutely can continue voice acting in projects, just performance will be a bit different than it once was (though some studios post-COVID are having some voice acting done in isolation, so that might not be too different for what she's probably done at times).

That said, wish her luck and hopefully she'll be well here.

But unfortunately it seems like she won't be getting new roles since she would have to be in Japan for auditions

I think you got a point, especially since that's probably the reason Minako Kotobuki hasn't really got much roles if any since she went to study abroad in London…

If she improves on her English (which she more than likely will if she's moving to the US) she can easily get some roles stateside.

While I'm happy that Suzuko Mimori's moving to the United States,I'm surprised it's happening. Yes,her husband's a wrestler who also came here to wrestle. Hopefully, she'll improve her English and get some roles in American animation. Like someone else said, since Minako Motobuki, another Japanese voice actress went to London to study, she really hasn't been heard from a lot. She could have worked in British animation while she did that, but my guess is,it wasn't easy. She probably would have been well-received over there if she tried.
I hope that Ms. Mimori does well over here and she gets some good roles and she even gets a chance to sing here. It'll be interesting to see what happens with her once she comes here.

If she was going to move to the US anyway, it makes Okada's decision to sign with AEW and not the WWE all the stranger.

Not really. Rumors are that AEW offered a lot more money than WWE did. AEW also has a lighter work schedule and he is really good friends with the Young Bucks. Working for AEW also gives him the ability to return to Japan and work with NJPW whenever he wants. He wouldn't have that option with WWE since their wrestlers are exclusive except in rare circumstances.
