KizunaAI Releases “mazaru,” Her Second Single Since Her Comeback

April 3, 2025 - Japanese VTuber KizunaAI released her second single, “mazaru” on March 26, continuing her musical journey following a three-year hiatus. The new release comes just one month after her comeback single “kamone,” which marked her return to the entertainment scene on February 26, 2025.

During her comeback announcement, KizunaAI promised fans a steady stream of new music—a commitment she's already fulfilling with this quick follow-up.

“mazaru” (which means “to mix” or “to blend” in Japanese) is a pop breakbeat track that gracefully captures both the excitement and anxiety of entering new worlds. The song embodies KizunaAI's core theme: “I still want to connect with you and get to know you.” With this philosophy at heart, she returns eager to resume her activities and connect with even more fans around the world through her music.
The track features composition by Haneda Narita of the band Passepied, lyrics co-written by ZE and KizunaAI herself, and arrangement by phritz.

An official visualizer has also been released alongside the single, offering a visual interpretation of KizunaAI's unique worldview through the concept of “mazaru.” Listeners are encouraged to keep an eye on the evolving musical world she is creating.
