thekingsdinner's Anime

take a look at thekingsdinner's Manga

These are the animes that I really miss. I re-watched some of them, but it never feels as good as watching it the first time.

Most Memorable Anime Comment
Ahiru no Quack (TV) Not many kids watched this, but I was kind of interested. I actually tried to follow the story (that's difficult as a kid). I can't really remember the end, but I'll definitely re-watch this someday.
Anne of Green Gables (TV) Now I, too, can tell the "I cried so hard when this happened" story. However, not many people will understand my story.
Ashita no Joe (TV)
Blood+ (TV) This is the first anime, which wasn't a popular shounen, I watched. This actually got me into watching more animes which wouldn't be as recognized as Orange Ninjas.
Case Closed (TV)
Digimon Adventure (TV) The time this aired in the Netherlands, every kid talked about it including me. Some even said it was better than Pokémon, including me! Digimon > Pokémon.
(The) Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya (movie)
Don-Don Domel to Ron (TV) This was really funny! I don't remember much of this show, but I do remember that I laughed really much. Perhaps I'll re-watch it someday. Oh! and I freakin' love the opening.
Dragon Ball (TV)
Dragon Ball Z (TV) This was the first anime which I was aware of that it was a Japanese production. I loved it all until the end, although I didn't care very much about the story.
Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug (movie 4)
Fist of the North Star (TV)
Glitter Force (TV)
Hajime no Ippo (TV)
Hakugei: Legend of the Moby Dick (TV)
HappinessCharge PreCure! (TV)
Hells (movie) The art alone is enough for me to fall in love with this movie. Madhouse is so badass.
Inferno Cop (ONA)
Inuyasha (TV) Although it isn't Rumiko's best thing, it's still such a delight to watch this. It gives me plenty of nostalgic feelings.
Kill la Kill (TV)
Kimagure Orange Road: The Movie I am such a sucker for old school drama.
A Little Princess Sara (TV)
Maison Ikkoku (TV) This is just so good. Everything in it is done so well that I can't even describe its excellence. This is also the one and only anime that has made me feel sympathy for it. Many others try it too, but not many of those succeed.
Mobile Fighter G Gundam (TV) Can't get enough of it. It's excellent for a person like me, who fell in love with simplicity.
Mobile Suit Gundam (TV) First of all, this must be the best known mecha franchise in history. I never thought it would be so good, but now it's one of the most memorable! Whenever I hear people talking about Gundam, I think of the very first one where everything began. I haven't seen everything yet, but this one is still the best and the most memorable.
Nobody's Boy Remi (TV)
One Piece (TV 1999) It's the best fucking thing ever.
Ox Tales (TV) It was only a few months ago when I found out this was not a dutch production. It was Japanese and thus making this my very first anime in my life (1997, 3 years old). I still remember the episodes I have on 4 VHS's, even now I can enjoy it.
(The) Place Promised in Our Early Days (movie)
Pokémon (TV)
PreCure Splash Star (TV)
Ranma ½ (TV 1/1989) In 4 weeks time, I finished the whole thing. This is godlike. It reeks of episodic silliness, which is the reason I love it SO much!
Shiki (TV) The atmosphere... it's so heavy... incredible soundtrack... amazing story... Masterpiece!
Shin chan (TV)
(The) Slayers Next (TV)
Soul Eater (TV) Although this is the least memorable in this list, sometimes it just pops up in your mind. Without doubt, Soul Eater was amazing.
Urusei Yatsura (TV 1981) This anime showed me how some things were in the 80's. I felt like making a time-machine and travel to the day the first episode aired. I can't help but miss this.
Yu-Gi-Oh! (TV 2/2000) When this aired on TV in the Netherlands, it was so majorly popular, almost every store sold these random card packages. I had a total of over 200 cards, with some rarities. Now that I've grown out of it, I gave them away to a fan. So many good memories.
