Eric Stuart Band and Ikasucon Announce Kickstarter Project
Fundraising effort to produce new album from Voice Actor's band
Nashville, TN – January 9th, 2012 – Veteran voice actor Eric Stuart (known for his roles in Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh!) has launched a project on crowd funding platform Kickstarter to help in producing his new studio album “Strangers In A Strange Love.” His band, the self-titled Eric Stuart Band funds the Indie Rock albums out of their own pocket and decided that for their latest album, they would appeal to the community of fans for help in getting the record off the ground. Pledges to the project can be made until Sunday, February 19th, 2012. If, at the time, the required amount of money has been pledged, then the project will be funded and produced. For pledging to help with this massive undertaking, there are various incentive levels based on the amount pledged that include signed copies of the new album (once produced), stickers, t-shirts, hats and even a live concert in your home!
Ikasucon, an anime convention held in Fort Wayne, IN, has partnered with Eric to promote his project and get the word out to fans of his work. Eric has been a staple of the anime community for years and we have enjoyed his work both on screen as a voice-over artist and behind the scenes as a director. Ikasucon is also playing host to a rock concert in July where the Eric Stuart Band will be headlining and a release party for the CD will be held. Fans will enjoy a truly exciting experience as they pledge to the project and then get to see the fruits of their efforts in a LIVE concert where an appreciative Eric Stuart Band will share with congoers in celebrating another successful album launch.

That exposure served as a springboard for Eric to open for the Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Paul Rodgers Tour that same summer.
