JaniCon Press Release
JaniCon is proud to announce the addition of two new sponsors, five new guests, tournament stop of the Anime Trivia Game Show and a sold out dealers room.
JACKSONVILLE, LF – May 13, 2007 - JaniCon is proud to announce its latest two sponsors! First up is Bawls, the energy drink and life blood of any LAN or table-top gaming session. As if that wasn't enough, Yaoi Press, publisher of such titles as Winter Demon and Wishing for Moon, has signed on to make sure all the fangirls (and boys) leave happy.
Our first new guest is American manga extraordinaire, Svetlana Chmakova, writer and illustrator of Dramacon. Next up is FUNimation Production's Operation Anime Coordinator Sophie McNutt, who will be here to answer your questions about their current and upcoming titles. Meanwhile, Amelie Belcher, creator of "The Real Life Adventures of Amelie" and admiral of the "Ami-Army", will be available throughout the weekend in the Guest Alley. Covering all of this madness will be D.F.P. Radio, an anime and video game-based Internet radio show out of Atlanta. And finally, Doug "Loves-The-Ladies" Smith, voice of Kintaro from Golden Boy, will be here to crash various parties throughout the weekend.
JaniCon is a Japanese Animation Convention in Jacksonville, Fl on November 2 – 4 at the Wyndham Jacksonville Riverwalk.
