Video game and anime publisher NIS America began streaming trailers for Battle Princess of Arcadias, Demon Gaze, Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited, Fairy Fencer F, Mugen Souls Z, and Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection on Friday.
NIS America will release Battle Princess of Arcadias for PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Network in North America and Europe this year. NISA describes the story in the side-scrolling beat-em-up action role-playing game:
The Kingdom of Schwert was once peaceful and beautiful. But now it's been overrun by monsters, and as the Battle Princess Plume, it's up to you to set things right in this colorful, high-speed action RPG! Recruit a group of warriors and engage in skirmishes against the enemy before taking on huge and powerful bosses in epic siege battles!
NISA will release the fantasy dungeon role-playing game Demon Gaze for the PlayStation Vita in North America on April 22 and in Europe on April 25. NIS America describes the story:
the world's western frontier—with a dark shroud covering his memories of the past. The land before him contains many labyrinths that hold both treasure and danger in equal volumes. Without knowing where else to go or what else to do, Oz decides to take up arms in order to hunt down artifacts and eke out a living in this world that feels so new to him. One day, he will have to face his past, but until then, he has no choice but to trust those around him, and in his newfound abilities as a “Demon Gazer”...
NISA will release Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited (Makai Senki Disgaea 4 Return) in North America and Europe this summer. The PS Vita strategy role-playing game will be available at retail and via digital download. It shipped in Japan last month.
The game is a port of 2011's Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten video game for the PlayStation 3. The port features a new story arc that tells the past between Valvaorez and Artina and a new character named Nagi Clockwork. NISA shipped Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten for the PlayStation 3 in 2011.
Compile Heart's turn-based role-playing game Fairy Fencer F is slated to ship in North America and Europe this fall. NIS America plans to release the PlayStation 3 game in both digital and physical copies. NISA describes the story:
Long ago, a dreadful war was fought between the Goddess and the Vile God. Because they were equally matched, they both created a vast number of special weapons imbued with their godly energy, each containing the life force of a fairy. Armed with these weapons, the deities continued their conflict until they finally sealed each other away into the great unknown. A long time has passed since this ancient conflict, and the weapons created by the Goddess and the Vile God have since been scattered across the world. These weapons—now known as “Furies”—are highly sought after by warriors who call themselves “Fencers”. It is said that whoever collects a Fury will be granted one wish. When a young man named Fang decides to rashly pull a Fury from a stone, he inadvertently becomes a Fencer himself, forever altering the course of his destiny.
NISA will release Compile Heart's role-playing game Mugen Souls Z in North America and Europe in 2014. The game will be available for physical and digital release, with edits to certain aspects "due to the sensitive nature of some content." NISA describes the game:
Our favorite Undisputed God of the Universe, Chou-Chou, returns with her crew for a brand-new story revolving around the zodiac. Taking place immediately after the first game, you take control of the goddess Sylma, who meets Chou- Chou before the end of the first game's events. Sylma is out to stop an ancient threat to her world that has recently awakened. 9999 levels of maniacal mishaps and ethereal adventures await Sylma, her crew, and hordes of Shampurus as Mugen Souls Z hits Western shores in 2014!
Idea Factory and Compile Heart's simulation game Kami Jigen Idol Neptune PP (Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Perfection) in North America and Europe in 2014. The PlayStation Vita game will be available at retail and in PSN. NISA describes the game:
The player takes on the role of the main character, who happens to fall into Gamindustri and is immediately hired by one of the four CPUs—Neptune, Noire, Blanc, and Vert—to be their producer and manage their idol careers. Get your training wheels on, ladies, because a new producer is in town and the fate of Gamindustri hangs in the balance! Will you be able to properly raise these CPUs into idols, or will their citizens be stolen away from them by the popular idol group MOB-48!? Teach these girls to sing, dance, and properly promote themselves to the general populace thanks in part to your expertise in training video game idols back on Earth. As the girls' popularity rises, they will be able to join one another in singing duets, or maybe even come together for a full ensemble!
