posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

Konami announced on Tuesday that it found that over 35,000 user accounts on the company's "KONAMI ID portal site" may have been compromised. The company reported that there is a chance that these users' real names, addresses, emails, date of birth, gender, and phone numbers could have been accessed. Konami detected 3,945,927 reportedly illicit login attempts, and 35,252 were successful.

Konami confirmed login attempts from June 13 through July 7. The company asked the affected users to reset their passwords.

Nintendo reported on Monday that 23,926 accounts on its "Club Nintendo" fan site may have been compromised between June 2-9.
