Indian Remake of Ashita no Joe Boxing Anime Considered

Kodansha revealed on Saturday that there are plans under consideration for an Indian animated version of Tetsuya Chiba and Ikki Kajiwara's classic boxing manga and anime Ashita no Joe. Another title that Kodansha published, Ikki Kajiwara and Noboru Kawasaki's Kyojin no Hoshi baseball manga, inspired the ongoing animated series Suraj: The Rising Star. The remake replaces baseball with India's ball game of choice, cricket.
