Sunrise's Valvrave Mecha Anime's Promo 1.5, Singers, More Cast Revealed

The official website for Sunrise's Valvrave the Liberator (Kakumeiki Valvrave) television anime series began streaming the anime's promotional video "1.5" on Sunday.
The website also revealed that T.M. Revolution and Nana Mizuki are performing the opening theme song "Preserved Roses" together. The duo angela is performing the first ending theme song "Boku Janai," while the singer ELISA is performing the as-yet-untitled second ending theme song.
The website annnounced more of the cast, in addition to the four main cast members already revealed:
Ryota Ohsaka as second-year student Haruto Tokishima at Jiōru's Sakimori Academy
Ryōhei Kimura as Dorushia Military Pact Federation special agent L-elf
Asami Seto as Haruto's close, if sometimes quarreling, childhood friend Shōko Sashinami
Haruka Tomatsu as Saki Rukino, a popular but aloof idol who has taken a break from her entertainment career
Yūki Ono as Kyūma Inuzuka, a high school sempai to Haruto and the others
Ai Kayano as classmate Aina Sakurai
Misato Fukuen as Shōko's friend Marie Nobi
Hiroyuki Yoshino as boys' culture club leader Yūsuke Otamaya
Yūichi Nakamura as gang leader Raizō "Thunder" Yamada
Daisuke Namikawa as student council president Satomi Renbōkoji
Minako Kotobuki as girls' athletics leader Takahi Ninomiya
Aoi Yūki as Akira, who lives in a cardboard house on campus
Wataru Hatano as the teacher Takumi Kibukawa, even though he does not talk or act like a teacher
Yui Horie as Rion Nanami, the somewhat airheaded teacher popular among the male student body for her assets
The story is set the year Shinreki ("True Calendar") 71, when 70% of the human race lives in space due to the development of space cities. Between two major powers — the Dorushia Military Pact Federation and the Atlantic Ring United States (ARUS) — there is a small neutral nation called Jiōru that has prospered economically. The protagonist Haruto, a high school student who lives in Jiōru, encounters the mysterious "forbidden" humanoid weapon Valvrave when the Dorushia army invades.
Kou Matsuo (Kurenai, Natsuyuki Rendezvous, Rozen Maiden) is directing the series at Sunrise. Ichirō Ōkouchi (Code Geass, Negima!, Guilty Crown) is handling the series composition. Manga creator Katsura Hoshino (D.Gray-man) is handling the original character designs for the series, and Tatsuya Suzuki (Mobile Suit Gundam Battlefield Record: Avant-Title) is adapting Hoshino's designs for animation. Makoto Ishiwata (Robotics;Notes, Blassreiter) of Nitroplus, Naohiro Washio (Bodacious Space Pirates, Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Fafner), and Kunio Ōkawara (Mobile Suit Gundam franchise, Armored Trooper Votoms, Yatterman) are handling mechanical design.
The anime will premiere in April on MBS's "Animeism" late-night programming block.

Update: The website also revealed Bandai's plastic model for the main character's Valvrave unit. It highlights the model's poseability, numerous weapons, and clear light-effect parts.
