Madoka Magica's Shinbo to Direct Fate/Extra CCC's Opening

The eighth volume of Kadokawa Shoten's Type-Moon Ace magazine is announcing on Saturday that Akiyuki Shinbo (Madoka Magica, Nisemonogatari, Hidamari Sketch franchise) will direct the opening anime for the Fate/Extra CCC PlayStation Portable video game.

The studio SHAFT (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Nisemonogatari) is producing the opening anime. Kanon Wakeshima wrote, scored, and performed the game's theme song, "Sakura Meikyū" (Sakura Labyrinth).

Marvelous AQL will release the game on February 21, 2013.
