Right Stuf to Release First 3 Hetalia Manga Volumes

The North American distributor Right Stuf announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with the Japanese publisher Gentosha Comics and the manga publisher Tokyopop to release the first three volumes of Hidekaz Himaruya's Hetalia manga series. This will be the first time that the third volume of Hetalia will be printed in English. Right Stuf will will sell the third volume as well as reprints of the first two manga volumes exclusively on its website.
The initial print run the third volume of the manga will feature an 8-page color insert. Future prints of the manga, which will be available only through print-on-demand, will print those pages in black and white. The third volume will be released in June 2012 for US$15.99. The volume is available now for pre-order.
The reprints of the first two volumes are available now only via print-on-demand. The reprints of each volume retail for US$15.99.
Tokyopop founder Stu Levy had asked on the company's Facebook page in September if there was interest in a release of the third volume of the series.
Tokyopop had planned on publishing the third volume of Hetalia in May 2011, but it shut down its North American publishing operations that same month.
