2nd US Trademark Filed for Tales of Hearts Game

Namco Bandai Games filed for a second trademark in the United States on the term "Tales of Hearts" last Friday, seeking to use it in contexts including "computer game software," "downloadable computer game software via a global computer network and wireless devices," and "video game software." The company had previously filed for trademark protection on the same term in July 8, 2008, though without the specific reference to downloadable software. The Tales of Hearts role-playing game was released in Japan for the Nintendo DS on December 18, 2008, and features animation by Production I.G.
