Bunny Drop's Unita to Launch Essay Manga

Usagi Drop manga creator Yumi Unita announced on Friday that she will launch a new manga in Kodansha's Digital Kiss online magazine on January 25.
Unita's series will focus on using various designs, patterns, and screentones in the manga creation process. A two-page chapter of the essay manga will debut in Digital Kiss on the 25th of every month.
The artist's slice-of-life manga Usagi Drop began serializing in Shodensha's Feel Young magazine in 2005 and ended in April 2011. After its launch in the July issue, Unita completed the Usagi Drop: Bangaihen (Bunny Drop: Extra) spinoff in the magazine on December 8. Yen Press is publishing the original manga in North America. A television anime adaptation aired in Japan from July to September 2011, and the live-action film version opened in Japan on August 20.
