AKB48's AKB0048 Anime Gets 4 Manga Series in 4 Mags

The manga series are based on the original concepts for the anime, and will start before the anime itself premieres next spring.
The final public audition for the AKB0048 anime's nine main characters will take place in Tokyo on December 13. The website is accepting applications for 100 fans who will get to see the audition in person.
The overall audition process will select the nine winners from among the 200 members of AKB48 and its sister groups: SKE48, NMB48, and HKT48. After the early audition rounds have winnowed the candidates down to 30, these 30 will perform during the final audition to determine the winners. The announcement of which 30 will be advancing to the final audition round will be made on December 2.
