Redline to Play at Toronto After Dark Film Festival
posted on by Jennifer Sherman
The 2009 anime film Redline will be shown at the 6th annual Toronto After Dark Film Festival. The event will run from October 20 to 27, and screenings will be held at the Toronto Underground Cinema. Redline is the only anime movie in the festival's initial eight-film lineup. Event organizers will release a complete listing of movies and screening times later this month.
The Redline race is a dangerous, no-rules competition held once every five years. JP gets voted into the race, but government opposition to the race could put his life at even greater risk. The losing racer must put everything on the line and keep his enemies at bay in order to survive the final race.
A home video release is planned in North America.
