Blue Dragon/Guin Saga composer to appear at charity autograph session
The organizers of Otakon announced on Wednesday that they will host Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu in a Q&A session and a charity autograph session on Friday, July 29 at the Baltimore Convention Center. People who wish to attend the autograph session must donate at least US$20 to the Japanese Red Cross for relief efforts after the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake (Higashi Nihon Daishinsai) disaster.
In addition to composing most of the Final Fantasy games, Uematsu also scored the Chrono Trigger game (with primary composer Yasunori Mitsuda), the Blue Dragon game and anime franchise, the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children film, Ah! My Goddess: The Movie, and Guin Saga. Uematsu's special appearance was arranged through Distant Worlds.
