Kanon Wakeshima, who sung the end-titles songs for Vampire Knight and Vampire Knight Guilty, will be a guest at the Hyper Japan festival at Kensington in July. From the website:
Kanon Wakeshima took up cello at the age of 3, began performing when she was at high school, and eventually won a contract with Sony label DefSTAR RECORDS; all by the time she was 18. Kanon's unique combination of cello, classical music, contemporary J-pop and goth-loli fashion makes her a very exciting presence in Japanese music today.Kanon Wakeshima will be visiting HYPER JAPAN 2011 to perform two charity concerts for the people and region affected by the Tohoku Pacific Earthquake and to show her appreciation of all the support that people in the UK have given to Japan so far.
