Supanova Announces New Conventions, 2012 Calendar

Supanova has announced that it will expand its current line-up of Australian conventions to include a new event this November and two new conventions starting next year.
A second three-day convention including exhibitors, events and guests will take place in Brisbane in November this year, replacing the one-day event for the Madman National Cosplay Championship finals. The Cosplay Championship was scheduled for the first weekend of November at the RNA Showgrounds; no details on whether the date and venue will change for the new three-day convention are currently available.
In 2012, Supanova will hold two new three-day conventions in Adelaide and the Gold Coast. Supanova Gold Coast will run in cojunction with the Gold Coast Film Festival (taking place in the week between Supanova Melbourne and the Gold Coast Film Festival) and is timed to coincide with the Apollo Awards.
Supanova's current calendar for 2012 is as follows:
- April 13th to 15th: Melbourne
- April 20th to 22nd: Gold Coast
- June 15th to 17th: Sydney
- June 22nd to 24th: Perth
- November 8th to 11th: Brisbane
- November 16th to 18th: Adelaide
