1st Nanoha Film Tops Blu-ray Chart for 2nd Week

7,000 copies sold on top of previous week's 58,000
The limited first edition Blu-ray Disc of Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The MOVIE 1st sold 7,000 copies to rank #1 on the overall Blu-ray Disc chart for the November 29-December 5 week. It was the second week in a row that this film topped the chart; it sold 58,000 copies in its first week.
The DVD version ranked #28 on its respective chart. That version sold 3,851 more copies for a grand total of 26,609. The film was seen over 260,000 times in theaters and had taken in 380 million yen (about US$4.4 million) at the box office this year. The second film, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the Movie 2nd A's, will open in Japan in 2012.
