Anime Central Hosts 4 Japanese Soul Eater Voice Actors

Anime Central confirmed on Sunday that it is hosting four Japanese voice castmembers from the Soul Eater television anime series during the May 14-16 convention in Rosement, Illinois. Funimation, the North American anime distributor of Soul Eater, is co-sponsoring the appearances of the following castmembers:
- Yumiko Kobayashi (Black Star)
- Kōki Uchiyama (Soul Eater)
- Kaori Nazuka (Tsubaki)
- Narumi Takahira (Patty)
Kobayashi has voiced roles in more than 80 anime, including Love Hina's Sarah McDougal, Slayers Revolution's Pokota, Peace Maker's Tetsunosuke Ichimura, and Angel Beats!' Ōyama. Kobayashi also performed the opening theme song for Excel Saga.
Uchiyama has also voiced main roles in several other anime such as Shiki's Natsuno Yūki, Mobile Suit Gundam UC's Banagher Links, and Beyond's Masaji. Uchiyama played Roxas and Ventus in the Kingdom Hearts video game franchise.
Nazuka has acted in more than 80 anime, including Code Geass' Nunnally Lamperouge, Eureka Seven's Eureka, Strike Witches' Lynette Bishop, and Fruits Basket's Kisa Soma. Nazuka also sang theme song performances for Strike Witches, Bottle Fairy and GA: Geijutsuka Art Design Class.
In addition to Soul Eater, Takahira performed in Darker than Black: Ryūsei no Gemini and Ryoko's Case File.
Anime Central had previously announced that it will host the goth-influenced synth-pop Japanese band Aural Vampire.
