Crunchyroll Adds RH Plus Vampire Boys-Love Drama (Updated)
posted on by Egan Loo
The Crunchyroll media-distribution website has announced that it will begin streaming RH Plus, the 2008 vampire boys-love television drama, on Monday at 12:00 p.m. PDT. Ayako Suwa created the original manga about four male vampires who live together in a western-style manor. Suwa has been serializing the manga in Enterbrain's Comic B's-Log magazine since 2006, and four volumes have been compiled so far.
Hassei Takano (Negima! Magister Negi Magi's Nagi, Boogiepop and Others' Masami) plays Kiyoi, the fatherly Getchōkan building manager who looks to be in his 30s, but is actually close to 100 years old. Kiyoi's tennants include the college junior Masakazu (Gokusen, Hana-Kimi's Naoya Ojima) and two high school freshmen, Akira (Arena Romance's Yū Miura) and Ageha (Boogiepop Phantom, Aquarian Age's Rakuto Tochihara).
Digital Manga Publishing announced at Anime Expo 2008 that it had licensed the original manga for North America, but has yet to publish it.
Update: Crunchyroll announced last week that it is streaming the music video for Nanchatte! Renai, the latest single from the nine-member female idol group Morning Musume. The site is also hosting a video interview.
