Bandai Namco Releases Tokyo Game Show Lineup

Special stage event for Haruhi PSP game announced
In preparation for the upcoming Tokyo Game Show (TGS 2007), Bandai Namco Games has published a list of the games it will have on hand for show visitors to try. Games based on anime account for almost half of the TGS 2007 lineup for Bandai Namco, who have just completed its first year in business after officially becoming "Bandai Namco" in March 2006.
The biggest promotion is planned for the forthcoming Sony PSP title The Promise of Haruhi Suzumiya, which will be the focus of the only event that Bandai Namco has scheduled on the main event stage during TGS 2007. The Haruhi series will also be adapted into games for the Sony PlayStation 2 and Nintendo Wii by Banpresto, Inc. and Kadokawa, respectively.
For the Nintendo DS, playable games based on Gundam, Sergeant Frog, and Yes! Precure 5 will be on hand, and footage from forthcoming games based on One Piece, Code Geass and Doraemon will be shown. The anime-based lineup for the Nintendo Wii will include Kekkaishi, Gegege no Kitarō and Dragonball Z. The PlayStation 2 demo lineup features Dragonball Z, Naruto Shippūden, and Armored Trooper Votoms, along with footage from Kyo kara Maoh! and a new title in the Super Deformed (SD) Gundam series. Playable samples of Gundam titles for the PSP and Microsoft Xbox 360 will also be available.
